1) 150mW Probe
2) Fibre Optic Rod and Rubber Applicator
The glass rod is used in conjunction with the applicator to illuminate hard to reach places such as the inside of the mouth.
The applicator is designed to be fitted over the 150mW probe when using the Sanoskin® Photizo™ close to the eyes..
3) 600mW Probe
A high power probe which can treat larger areas per application. This 600mW probe has light emitting diodes of varying wavelengths for deeper penetration than the 150mW probe and is suitable for use by skilled clinicians. The probe can be used both with mains power or an extra heavy duty battery pack is available to power the probe when away from the mains electricity.
4) 1200mW Probe
This is a much more powerful version of the 600mW probe and is ideally suited for the treatment of large animals. The 1200mW probe may not however be used at the same time as the 150mW probe. This is done to ensure that correct dosages
are provided
5) Battery Charger
Each Sanoskin® Photizo™ unit is provided with a battery charger and mains cable. This allows the SanoSkin¨ Photizoª batteries to be recharged in the machine.
Batteries x4
Each Sanoskin® Photizo™ is supplied with 4 rechargeable batteries. The unit is manufactured to work off batteries and/or mains. The batteries, once fully charged, allow for up to 6 hours of treatment time.
6) Stand
The Sanoskin Photizo stand is to be used within a clincial setting. The 600mW
&1200mW probes can be attached to the stand leaving your hands free to attend to the patient. The stand has castors and an adjustable gooseneck to allow easy movement and control of the probes.
7) Hip Pouch
The hip pouch has 3 pockets which are designed to hold the control unit, the 150mW probe and 600mW probe with the addition of another pocket designed to hold the external battery pack. The hip pouch allows for greater freedom of movement, and is especially suited for veterinarians or equine specialists.
8) Fibre Optic Applicator
The Sanoskin® Photizo™ is the only LED light therapy device which accommodates this unique applicator which opens the door for dental professionals to gain the advantages of using light therapy within their treatment regimes.
The Fibre Optic Applicator has been developed especially for use with the Oral Pathology protocol for treatment of many dental and oral applications including mucositis (a painful side effect following chemotherapy). The applicator can also be used for treating cysts or deep wounds with a small entry cavity and other hard to reach areas.
The angle of the applicator’s front tip means it is easier and more practical to use inside the mouth plus the fibre optic material results in an increased power output than with the straight glass rod.
9) Battery Pack
The battery pack allows the use of the 600mW and 1200mW probes where mains power is unavailable in remote areas. Under normal circumstances, only the 150mW probe may be run from the unit’s internal batteries, the external battery pack
is necessary for using the larger treatment heads due to the high amount of power used. After being fully charged, the battery pack will allow from 4-6hrs of continuous treatment.
